What a DAY

Today has been one of the longer days that has gone by in a haze. After "training" at the campus center from 930-12, which was pretty standard... I then went to Check-in from 1-5 ish. It's been a long day. By the end of the check-in, I was cranky because I just didn't want to be there, but people kept coming in... I guess it's not their fault :P...

But, otherwise, my staff and I bonded some more... it was fun.

Let's talk about parents.

This mom walks into check-in, and asks, how can i get the shelves moved? And, we're like, huh? She says that it's too close to the bed, etc., and we're like, you can adjust the shelves... but she actually wants to move it to another part of the wall... and we're like... uh... talk to physical plant? But we all know that pp would never drill new holes into the walls to move the shelves like 2 feet from where they are already...

Anyways...

A lot of freshmen (or first-yrs to be more pc) checked-in today... a few were on my floor when i was doing check-in... they seem nice :)

Heard there was already trouble in Landon, w/ the poster theft and the dry erase marker thefts... bizarre truly.

I can't believe that school starts soon... I don't think I can take it...

well, i'll write some more later... gonna go zone out.
