RA Training

So, I haven't posted in a while... and now, I've decided to create a new blog for the academic year. I will probably making another one for going abroad, if I do end up going... which I hopefully will be.

For the past 1.5wks, I've been in RA (Resident Assistant) training, and a little bit of CC (Campus Center) building manager training. It's been interesting and fun, and I will probably get more into it in later posts.

But, I'd like to say, I simply adore my staff -- I know, I know, we're probably still at the "FORMING" stage... regardless, I like them so much that I almost don't want to go to London, but I am not foolish enough to NOT realize that not going to London would be one of the biggest regrets of my life.

Tonight, we went to dinner at the Boatyard as a staff... SO GOOD! the food was good, but the company and conversations were even better. We were separated by tables, because they couldn't accommodate 15 people at one table; most of the newbies at one and most of the returners at the other. I was w/ the newbs... We had a great time bonding through food. I feel like our staff is going to be going through a lot of dynamics... but I think I'm ready for it... and so is my staff, i think, at least we're getting there, together.

I think we were chatting and eating at the Boatyard for about 3 hours ish i think.... Zach had a full rack of ribs... I actually don't know if that's the right term... and he finished most of it! Which is quite impressive... but mine was good... Bistro Shrimp Scampi... whee

I'm gonna pass out now... TOO TIRED.
