Regarding this election

What can I say that hasn't been said? Probably not much, but here it is in my disoriented, ranting fashion -

The majority of my friends and I believe, no.. KNOW, that the wrong choice has been made, and that we're pretty much in deep shit. I hear people saying how it doesn't matter anymore because it's too late, and that we'll have another president in four years. But guess what - it does matter. We will likely be stuck with Supreme Court Justices that will probably be making socially-altering decisions about OUR future. We are gambling with our rights as human beings.

I don't see a balance in the government - the Republicans own the House and the Senate, and a Republican is the President. Despite the literal locations of checks and balances, there's not really a balance... is there?

Years and billions of dollars will be spent on the peace-keeping missions, excuse me - I mean, the WAR on a country that had no WMDs or whatever the reason we went in there for. Anyone know anymore? US has made a mess and it's time for it to clean it the fuck up. Lives ARE being lost everyday, and more will be lost on ALL sides. Our future is becoming more endangered every day.

I dunno. Things seem freakishly bleak to me.
